I found that when I first started the book I was in love with Banner and as I kept reading that love waned out, but for Jared I started off feeling just ok about him, but as I kept reading I found myself really loving and enjoying his perspective. Jared was a character that I had my moments with but overall I really loved. I did relate to her in certain aspects but ultimately I found myself frustrated and annoyed with her for almost the entire second half of the book. I wanted to love Banner so much but unfortunately that wasn’t the case for me.

Personally, I do not like certain things that happened in this book, certain actions of the characters and I feel like had the author decided not to have a certain thing be the basis of the entire plot and their love story, I would’ve enjoyed this book 10x more. I want to go into great detail about it but it would spoil the entire book for everyone and I know that isn’t fair of me to do.

From the moment I read Long Shot back when it first released, this book has been on my most anticipated release for the second half of 2018 and when I was lucky enough to receive an ARC I thought I had died and gone to heaven.Īnd while I do believe in their romance and think Banner and Jared are great together, I felt like all the drama and unnecessary side drama/plot devices used to move their story forward ruined this book for me.

I had such high expectations for this book.
